DARQ: Complete Edition Brings Its Unique Style and Gameplay to Xbox With Free Xbox Series X|S Upgrade in 2021

Feardemic, the developer behind DARQ, has announced today that the game will be releasing on the current line of Xbox consoles (Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox Series X) but the version for the next-gen Xbox Series X|S won’t be releasing this year.

Instead, the current-gen release will go ahead this December (release date to be confirmed) and that players on current-gen will be offered a free upgrade to the next-gen version of the game throughout 2021.

DARQ on Xbox Series X|S will feature full 4K graphic support as well as improved performance. However, bear in mind that the Xbox Series X and Series S are different machines, so it’s unlikely you’ll see 4K support on the S, but do expect better performance.

Feardemic has also stated that while the digital release is on track to be released this December, the physical release won’t be until early 2021.
